compsite volcano's
A composite volcano is a type of volcano that has very steep slopes and is hard to climb. It is built up by eruptions, and the ash layers on top of each other to make it more steep.
SHEILD volcano's
Shield Volcanoes are mainly built out of previous magma flows. They are named 'Shield Volcanoes' because they are shaped like a huge shield. They have solid lava layers that form over the magma chamber below.
cinder cone volcano
A cinder cone volcano is the smallest out of them all, and is the most abundant. It is a steep hill of fragments, cinders, and ash. Some Cinder Cones can have long branch pipes through them, to burst out lava in different directions.
